Welcome to Camino Verde Designs

Camino Verde Designs is a small independent, owner-operated design company for kitchen, bath and other interior spaces with special focus on floor plan development, custom cabinetry and product selection.

My name is Sabine and I have been trained as a project specialist for kitchen, bath, flooring, and lighting by a large building supply company and various cabinet manufacturers and software suppliers. I use the latest design software for accurate renderings and quotes.

Despite having a small showroom in Stoddard, I prefer using my mobile showroom, which allows customers to view samples — including cabinetry, flooring and countertop — right in their homes or the project site. This enables the customers to view and compare the samples in the actual setting and true light and choosing the right colors and styles much easier.

Having lived in Europe (Germany, Sweden, and Spain) and various places in the USA I have extensive knowledge of Traditional, Modern, and European design styles. I am proud to offer the finest quality custom cabinetry and all related accessories with the best customer care and expertise you will find.

I serve individual homeowners, contractors and architects with residential and commercial projects of all sizes. I have access to top-of-the-line suppliers for quality custom cabinetry, counter tops, fixtures, faucets and lighting.

My main objective is to satisfy the customer’s needs by aligning their vision and desires with their budget and ensuring a timely satisfactory installation. I work detail-oriented, efficiently, and can offer creative innovative solutions for possibly problematic areas as I tend to think “outside the box”.

The Process

Consultation

You (home owner, contractor, architect, etc.) contact us regarding an upcoming project.

We meet with you for a free consultation - preferably on site for remodeling projects - so we can find out what you are really looking for (your visions and ideas). We get the dimensions to start on a draft design.

We will supply you with a first draft of the design (3D rendering) and a preliminary quote.

Design

Consultation

For a design fee of 2% of the preliminary estimated cabinetry cost ($250 minimum) or $ 75.00/hour you will receive a complete first set of floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings as well as an accurate cost estimate based on the initial design. This amount will be deducted from the final project cost if you hire us and purchase the products through Camino Verde Designs.

We sign an agreement and we will work out all the fine details with you until you are completely satisfied with the design. You will receive numerous floor plans and renderings, we will go over color, finish, and door style choices, counter top choices, faucet options, appliances and all other items and issues that are part of your project. We will meet as many times as necessary. We also want to meet with the contractor to ensure we are all on the same page and work out a project time-line together.

When the design is final, we accept your payment and place the order.

We keep you and the contractor updated about delivery dates and when to order additional items such as sinks, counter tops, light fixtures, faucets, appliances etc.

We schedule the delivery and keep in close contact with the contractor and home owner during installation to ensure all is going according to plan.

We have a final walk-through when everything is correctly installed. Time to Celebrate!
